MEGASKILLS is a Horizon Europe project primarily focused on bridging these gaps through the research and design of an innovative and affordable methodology for training and evaluating soft skills-by means of a learning-by-video gaming approach, supported by the retrieval and processing of high-demand soft skills in the labour market (SMEs sector), analysis of gaming data, the use of AI and machine learning algorithms. The objective is to incorporate this new methodology in an AI platform which will allow for accurate training and evaluation of soft relevant skills.

To accomplish these objectives the tasks will be implemented:

- Defining soft skills needed by the European industries in the 21st century

- Classify and select the most promising current methodologies for soft skills training

- Develop an AI platform for skills assessment and certification

- Demonstrate the developed soft skills’ model, video games methodology and intelligent software platform in specific target groups

- 36 staff members of European SMEs from six critical sectors (automotive and transport, health, advanced manufacturing, smart grids, tourism and construction), critical to the European Skills Agenda.

- 500 participants aiming at 200 students, 200 managers and 100 people from migrant and unemployed groups

- Publish policy recommendations on strategic scenarios to reduce skills gaps
